I have a riddle for you.
Four frogs sit on a log. Three decide to jump off. How many are still on the log?
Some say one. Others say none — because the three jumping off would knock the last frog off.
But the correct answer? Four.
Deciding vs. Doing
Here’s the catch: deciding to jump off and actually taking the leap are two different things.
Maybe you or someone you know has decided to run a marathon this year. That’s a wonderful ambition. But unless you get up tomorrow and run a mile, you’ll be just as likely to run a marathon a year from now as you are today.
Another person might read twenty personal growth books in the next twelve months. But if they don’t put anything into practice, they’re still a frog on a log.
The Point of No Return
At some point, all the self-reflection, planning, and reading needs to convert into movement.
You’ve identified your reasons. You’ve defined your reality. You’ve drawn a roadmap. Now it’s time to leap.
The first step doesn’t need to be perfect. It doesn’t need to be dramatic. It just needs to be real.
What Leap Are You Avoiding?
What’s one thing you’ve been “deciding” to do for weeks, months, or even years — that you haven’t actually started?
What would it look like to take the first real step this week?
The Goodness Journey isn’t just about thinking differently. It’s about living differently. And living starts with a leap.
